We are delaying the dismissal of stduents at this time at the request of the city. There appears to be some concern regarding an gas leak. The city has it in contol/ None of our students or the school is or was in danger. The conern was to keep buses and other traffic away from the area.
The students were cooperative and we mained 7th period for about an additioal 10 minutes. The delay had nothing to do with violence or guns or strange people. Imade that announcement twice during the delay. Sorry for any anxiety this may have caused you.
Depending on the route the bus take home, your child may be a little late. Thank yo for your cooperation.
