The Southwest Math Team participated in the state tournament today. Nine of our students did a very good job representing our school by giving their best effort and by being joyful about math along the way.
We entered the tournament in 14th place overall. I believe that we finished in 16th place at the tournament. I'm proud of what the team accomplished this year and I'm already looking forward to next year.
Our top performer at the tournament, Nathaniel Larson, earned 12 of 14 possible points.
