Poetry Slam Finalists
The (K.)N.E.W. MN Youth Poetry Slam finalists presented by
TruArtSpeaks.. Congratulations to Laresa Avent, Fatima Camara
and Nazeem Cunningham. They will be competing on Friday March 29 at
the Heart of the Beast theater for one of six coveted spots representing
Minnesota at the Brave New Voices International Poetry Slam this summer in
Chicago.
Come out and support these young Southwest poets. You can
also financially support and
sponsor a young poet's trip to compete in the international BRAVE NEW
VOICES Youth Poetry Slam Festival (BNV) this summer in Chicago.
