The Southwest High
School World Savvy team competed last Saturday against metro schools at Maccalester College.
The team of Nathan Brunmeier, Max
Chandler, Sebastien Lannelongue, Lukas Funk, and Malcolm Ryshavy were awarded
Best Senior Exhibit on their topic of the sustainability of solar energy. They
will now continue onto the national competition where they have a chance to win
a grant for up to $500 that would be used to implement their plans around solar
energy.
