Libby Larsen is a Grammy Award-winning composer who has created a catalogue of over 500 works, ranging from vocal and chamber music to orchestral works and opera. More than fifty CDs of her work have been released, and she is sought after for commissions and premieres by major artists, ensembles, and orchestras around the world.
An advocate for the music and musicians of our time, she co-founded the Minnesota Composers Forum, now the American Composers Forum, which nurtures the creative spirit of living composers and engages communities in the performance and enjoyment of music. Co-sponsored by the Leagueaires and The Suzanne Holmes Hodder Legacy Fund.
