Valentine Day

Singing Instant-Grams -- words of kindness -- a nice day.  Valentine's Day is an attempt to remind the world of love.  At Southwest that comes in the form of singing telegrams.  Favorite tunes enriched with new words to fit the occasion.  Birthday - terms of endearment, secret admirers - what ever the person wants conveyed.

The singing is a fun way to raise money.  Makes for another warm and tender day at Southwest.  Hopefully, your son or daughter was not too disturbed from her/his class throughout the day.

Bright sun, beautiful snow covered trees and the eyes of youth.  What better way to share feelings and the joy of living.

I was told that Mr Fresco locked the door and played loud music to drown out Southwest Singers who came to his class to serenade a student. Worth checking in to, as it seems quite inappropriate and rude for him to do, if it's true?

We were reviewing for a test today and I was in the middle of something important. So, I told them to wait for a couple of minutes, but they started singing anyway disregarding my “whishes”. I would have loved to sing along with them, but they didn’t want to wait. Sorry about putting academics first. I’ll play along next time.
