Nordic and Alpine State Results

Here are the results for the State meet the last couple of days,

 At Giants Ridge on Wednesday, the Southwest Girls Alpine Team took 3rd Place

Molly Carolan 12th- All-state

Annika Hager 16th- All-state
Andrea Savage
Mackenna Savage
Ellie Kirkpatrick
Eleanor Goodnow

Side note:

• Before the season Annika broke her back training and was not allowed to ski for most of the season.  It was only 1 month ago when she was cleared to start participating.  And only a few weeks ago she got to start racing.
• Molly tore her ACL at this same meet last year and was not allowed to train fully until after the season started.

At Giants Ridge Yesterday for Nordic Skiing

Nordic Boys:

Sam Sinkier took 20th, and all-state honors
Sam Shaheen 34th 

Nordic Girls:

Anna Ryden took 31st
Marie Michl 42nd
Daisy Richmond 46th

They all preformed great, and had the opportunity to participate and represent SW in the state meet.  

Many of them will be back next year to try it again.
