Results of the MN Music Listening Contest from Friday regional event
Southwest took 5 teams of 3 students each to compete at the UM Ted Mann Concert Hall. Two of 5 teams brought back trophies to SW. Nora Doyle, Sophie Breen and Emma Richmanwere regional champions with a score of 77. The sophomore team of Alice Schmitz, Nathaniel Larson, andSebastien Coll earned the runner up, 2nd place trophy with a score of 75. Only one team from each school can go on to the state contest on Feb. 1 at Augsburg College.
