Monday and Tuesday

Southwest Athletics so far this season has produced the school of champions. Swimming, women's cross country, men's cross country, football, volleyball and men's soccer are all city champions. And the wave continues. Men's and Women's Cross Country send one each to state. Swimmers are still swimming.

Volleyball continues the race to state Monday at Edina versus Hopkins High School.

Tuesday at noon is the trip to the Metrodome for the Men's Soccer team.

Tuesday is a regular school day. Students are expected to be in school UNLESS there is permission by parents to miss due to family situations.

Students need parent permission to miss school on Tuesday OR to leave school early to attend the soccer game at the dome.

Students are expected to be good sports at the Metrodome. No banners are permitted. Hand-held obstructive signs are permitted with appropriate wording. The behavior at the Metrodome is expected to be positive toward teams and players. Horns and other sound makers are not permitted. The soccer game at the Metrodome at noon is a school event and appropriate behavior is expected.
